Soldiers of the Lithuanian Land Force will take part in an international peace support operations exercise Rapid Trident 2014 at the International Peacekeeping and Security Centre, Yavoriv, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine, the Ministry of National Defence informs.
60 million litas (over EUR 17 million) will be spent on fighting vehicles, anti-tank weaponry and mortars next year to bolster the Lithuanian Armed Force’s Land Force, the Ministry of National Defence said on Thursday.
