Vilpišauskas on if NATO doing enough to protect the Baltic states
The Lithuania Tribune / EN.DELFI TV spoke to Prof. Ramūnas Vilpišauskas, Director, Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Vilnius University. Edward Lucas, an expert on Russia and the Baltic region, said this in a Power Vertical ‘We could have a sharp security crisis this fall in the Baltic states, and my worry is that I don’t think that at the moment either NATO or the Baltic states, other countries in the region or the United States are really ready to deal with that.’ We have learned that Pentagon is getting ready to deploy the heavy military machinery in the Eastern and Central Europe. Is NATO doing enough and do we have enough time to prepare we asked Prof. Vilpišauskas?
