Lithuania, South Korea agree on closer cooperation in tourism

Minister of the Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė is paying an official visit to South Korea, where she met with the country’s Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Park Bo Gyoon and signed an agreement on cooperation in the area of tourism.

Minister Armonaitė said the goal was to maintain and boost bilateral cooperation in tourism. According to her, although the flow of tourists from South Korea has been relatively modest, yet last year it increased six fold, whereas the inked agreement would allow promoting tourism further.
