Annual inflation at 1.6% in December

The EU-harmonised annual inflation is at 1.6% in Lithuania in December, according to a flash estimate from the State Data Agency.

In December, the average annual inflation provisional estimate calculated based on the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) runs at 8.7%.

The provisional monthly (December 2023, compared to November 2023) change in consumer prices calculated based on the HICP stands at -0.6%.
