Japanese robotics giant Fanuc invited to invest in Lithuania

The deputy minister of the Economy and innovation, Karolis Žemaitis, has met with representatives of Fanuc, a Japanese manufacturer of industrial robots and digital control systems, to present the business ecosystem in Lithuania and invite the Japanese company to invest in the country, the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation reports.

“Along with lasers, biotechnology and engineering, robotics and artificial intelligence are the areas where we see the most prospects for active cooperation and investment between the two countries. Lithuania has great potential in robotics and artificial intelligence, we have world-class companies, and cooperation in these areas can be mutually beneficial,” the deputy economy minister said.
