The board backed a proposal to use vacant apartments in the hotel that is usually used by lawmakers to provide accommodation to people fleeing Ukraine, which is now under Russia's attack, to show solidarity with the Ukrainians fighting for freedom.

Based on the information provided to BNS by the Office of the Seimas, 62 MPs are currently using the Seimas hotel on Gediminas Avenue, with nine apartments remaining vacant.
