Ninety-eight MPs voted in favour of the bill, none opposed it and four abstained.
“Sugar and sweeteners are addictive. Manufacturers are manipulating our children, the younger generation, to develop these harmful habits (&). This is why the law is timely,” said Conservative MP Vilius Semeška.
The amendment prohibits the sale of electronic cigarettes and refills containing sugar and/or sweeteners.
