President: Lithuania’s goal is to become an innovation hub in Nordic and Baltic region

On Tuesday, President Gitanas Nausėda met with Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. The president and the commissioner discussed the Lithuanian Economic Recovery and Resilience Facility as well as support for Ukraine, the president’s communication group said.

Nausėda underlined Lithuania’s ambition of becoming an innovation hub in the Nordic-Baltic region and outlined the steps to be taken for Lithuania to engage more actively in EU research and innovation initiatives and programmes.
