The size of pushed-back migrants ranged from several to several dozen. It was a third day running when no migrants were allowed to enter Lithuania, the SBGS noted.
Patrols used pre-recorded warnings in several languages to warn potential border violators that crossing Lithuania's border in non-authorized places is prohibited, the service said.
It also reported that there was a visual increase in Belarusian border guards in some areas, mainly in the southeastern area of the Lithuanian-Belarusian border.
Over 4,000 illegal migrants have entered Lithuania from Belarus so far this year.
Lithuania has a state-level extreme situation declared over the migration influx which is being orchestrated by the Belarusian regime.
The country has recently introduced migrant push-backs which have reduced the influx of migrants significantly.
