Nausėda calls to further step up sanctions on Russia and Belarus

President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda argues that Russia’s actions in Belarus prove Minsk’s full involvement in the war against Ukraine.

“We see movement in Belarus, which indicates that some of the mobilised are being sent or would be sent to fight in Ukraine through the territory of Belarus. This is clear proof that Belarus is fully taking part in this war. Therefore, it becomes responsible just like Russia for the consequences of the war,” stated Nausėda.
