LVŽS leader elected to Šiauliai District Municipal Council

Leader of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LVŽS) Ramūnas Karbauskis has been elected to Šiauliai District Municipal Council but he is not sure about becoming a councillor.

Lithuania held municipal and mayoral elections on 5 March and in Šiauliai district the LVŽS secured 12 seats in the local municipality. Karbauskis started from the 50th position on the party’s election list but finished 3rd due to the ranking by voters.
