Lithuania will not transfer PzH 2000 howitzers and NASAMS air defence systems to Ukraine

It transpired after Monday’s sitting of the State Defence Council that Lithuania will continue military assistance to Ukraine but will not transfer its PzH 2000 howitzers or NASAMS air defence systems. The Council was convened by President Gitanas Nausėda.

Kęstutis Budrys, the president’s chief national security adviser, said that a whole package of assistance to Ukraine was considered on Monday, including delivery of military and non-military equipment and military training.
