The Kupiškis district mayor will have to stand down as he has been found guilty of corruption, the court ruled.
The Court of Appeal on Thursday found Dainius Bardauskas guilty of bribery, influence peddling and incitement to forge a document. He will have to pay a fine of EUR 24.8 thousand and will be banned from taking any senior position in state, public and private sectors for four years.
