Data published by Statistics Lithuania indicates that 1,374 people contracted the virus for the first time, 436 for the second time and 10 for the third time.

The total number of confirmed cases in Lithuania has reached 1,177,827 since the outbreak of the pandemic. Currently, 14,339 people are ill.

The death toll due to COVID-19 stands at 9,206 after three patients aged from 80 to 99 years died on Monday.

The average number of new daily cases in the last 7 days is 960. The incidence rate per 100,000 residents in the last 14 days is 417.5. The positive test rate in the last 7 days stands at 49.5%.

On 25 July, 142 residents were vaccinated against coronavirus: 40 with the first vaccine dose, 21 with the second dose and 71 with the third dose.

On Monday, 25 individuals were hospitalised due to COVID-19 and now 120 hospital beds allocated for coronavirus patients are occupied. Six people are being treated in intensive care units.

On Monday, 408 molecular PCR tests, 2,547 antigen tests and 187 antibody tests were carried out.
