Conservatives will select new chair of Budget Committee next week

The Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrat party (TS-LKD) next week will select a new chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance after MP Mykolas Majauskas was expelled from the party and resigned as committee chair. The politician was expelled from the party for supporting value added tax (VAT) amendments that had not been harmonised with the Government.
