Border guards prevent 39 migrants from entering Lithuania illegally via Belarus

The State Border Guard Service (VSAT) reports to have prevented 39 migrants from accessing Lithuania illegally via Belarus on Thursday, 16 March.

Neighbouring Latvia stopped 21 migrants from illegally crossing into its territory from Belarus on 16 March, whereas Poland turned away as many as 81 illegal migrants that intended to cross the border from Belarus on 15 March.
