Bilotaitė: we see reasons to extend state of emergency

Interior Minister Agnė Bilotaitė says there are serious grounds to extend the state of emergency at Lithuania’s border with Belarus and Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast.

“Having evaluated the latest developments, the Ministry of the Interior sees reasons to extend the state of emergency. Now it is to end on December 15. There is a set of serious arguments to extend it,” Minister Bilotaitė said after an interinstitutional meeting at the presidential palace on Wednesday.
