Data published by Statistics Lithuania indicates that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 1,168,585 since the outbreak of the pandemic. Currently, 9,116 people are ill.
The death toll due to COVID-19 stands at 9,188 in Lithuania. Nobody died of it on Thursday.
The average number of new daily cases in the last 7 days is 608. The incidence rate per 100,000 residents in the last 14 days is 250. The positive test rate in the last 7 days stands at 43.5%.
On Thursday, 228 residents were vaccinated against COVID-19: 49 with the first vaccine dose, 41 with the second dose and 112 with the third dose.
Yesterday, 15 people were hospitalised with COVID-19 and now 93 hospital beds allocated for coronavirus patients are occupied. Five people are being treated in intensive care units.
On 14 July, 235 molecular PCR tests, 1,399 antigen tests and 132 antibody tests were performed. Since the outbreak of the pandemic 6,577,998 molecular PCR tests have been carried out.
