UN report: Lithuania enters top 20 of happiest countries

The United Nations has announced its World Happiness Report for 2020-2022 on 20 March, International Day of Happiness, which shows Lithuania entering the top twenty for the first time.

Lithuania was down by 32 slots in the 2017 country rankings.
“The same countries tend to appear in the top twenty year after year, with 19 of this year’s top 20 also being there last year. The exception is Lithuania, which has steadily risen over the past six years, from 52nd in 2017 to 20th this year,” the report said.
