Three same-sex couples ask court to register their marriages in Lithuania

Three same-sex couples have filed lawsuits seeking to defend their rights to create a family and requesting court to have their marriages registered in Lithuania.

The lawsuits have been initiated by the Association of Tolerant Youth (TJA), which hopes to eliminate the main hurdles for couples to have their relationships recognised and regulated.
