Lithuanians travelled more in Q4

In the fourth quarter of 2022, compared to the same quarter of 2021, the number of Lithuanian residents’ trips with overnight stay within Lithuania grew by 8.4% and amounted to 780.6 thousand, the number of same-day trips increased by 0.2% and amounted to 2.4 million, the State Data agency said.

In October–December 2022, the duration of a trip within Lithuania per resident averaged 2.14 overnight stays.
Residents travelling within Lithuania spent EUR 94.5 million. Residents spent EUR 54 per personal trip and EUR 69 per business trip.
