Lithuanians donate nearly 4,000 sleeping bags to Ukraine

Although it was feared that because of inflation Lithuanians would have reservations about donating in support for Ukraine, yet last weekend, on 10-11 December, nearly 4,000 sleeping bags were donated to Ukraine in the campaign launched by the Lithuanian Red Cross Society.

Organisation’s representative Luka Lesauskaitė says the collected sleeping bags should be shipped already this week to help Ukrainians endure the harsh winter amid Russia’s missile attacks that target critical infrastructure leaving Ukrainians without power and district heating.
