Most of the funds raised from the sale of these coins will go to help Ukraine, the central bank said on Monday.

"Every person who will buy the coin will contribute 70 euros as the coin's total price is 96.8 euros. The funds will be transferred to the National Bank of Ukraine," the Bank of Lithuania said.

The reverse of the coin features arms symbolically embracing everything that is a state, a nation fighting for tradition, history, the present and the future, as well as a stylized outline of Ukrainian state filled with volumetric details of ethnographic ornaments in cloth – as Ukrainians are defending their land, their homeland, their homes, their loved ones, the graves of their ancestors and their history.

The composition also bears the inscriptions in Lithuanian and in Ukrainian FOR UKRAINE’S FIGHT FOR FREEDOM.

The center of the obverse of the coin features an image of the embroidered, stylized symbols of the coats of arms of the Republic of Lithuania, the Vytis, and of Ukraine, the Trident (Tryzub). An inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA) is located above the image, with the denomination (10 euros) and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint below. The artistic composition features Ukrainian conventional patterns as an allusion to linen, used throughout the human lifecycle, from birth to death.

The issued will include 5,000 coins and they will be available as of November 30.
