The number of foreign nationals living in Lithuania is the highest on record in the entire period of the country’s independence, the Migration Department said on Monday.

According to the data for the second half of 2022, a total of 189,411 foreigners are registered and living in Lithuania. On 1 July 2022, there were 145,118 foreign nationals in the country.
