Vilimienė to head Lithuanian national opera and ballet theatre

Laima Vilimienė, current head of the Klaipėda State Musical Theatre, has won a competition for the general manager of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (LNOBT), the Culture Ministry announced on Wednesday.

Vilimienė has been the head of Klaipėda State Musical Theatre since August 2018. She also teaches music management at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
