President vetoes amendments to Law on Payments

President Gitanas Nausėda on Thursday vetoed legislative amendments that would have allowed banks and payment institutions to collect various sensitive data of their customers.

The presidency announced that, following the Constitution, President Nausėda returned the amendments to the Law on Payments and accompanying legislation to parliament for reconsideration.
