Over 450 fake phone covers found in shipments from China and Hong Kong

Kaunas customs officers have intercepted 459 counterfeit phone covers bearing the logo of the Apple brand in shipments from China and Hong Kong.

Officers were carrying out an inspection of goods at the Kaunas Airport checkpoint. They suspected that the covers might have been produced in violation of intellectual property rights and seized them, the Kaunas Territorial Customs said.

The Apple-branded phone gadgets were confirmed to be fake and will be destroyed, the authority said.
