“TEKTELIC offers incredible technical opportunities, which will allow us to adapt to the quickly-growing IoT market and changing demands of clients. Also, we’ll comply with the requirements of quality and security for LoRaWAN® easier,” said Igor Poliscuk, Managing Director at Mainlink.

According to Mr Poliscuk, the equipment provided by TEKTELIC will ensure global access to the network implemented by Mainlink. TEKTELIC was the clear choice from 50+ equipment providers, and the final decision was impacted by a similar vision towards IoT.

“Likewise to TEKTELIC, we offer sustainable, affordable, and open-sourced solutions of IoT. The Canadian solutions are the best in this segment, which also solves an important issue in this market, technological dependence. This is heavily avoided, so anyone who’s already understood the consequences of such dependence is looking for ways to break free,” claims Mr Poliscuk.

The solutions of IoT, based on open sources, are particularly relevant to large companies. One of the examples includes water service providers, which are the potential clients of Mainlink.

After signing the contract with TEKTELIC, Mainlink entered the last stage of the preparation for the commercial start of LoRaWAN®. This network will be offered to clients once the negotiations with the supplier’s finish.

“The development of technologies and tools within IoT is currently one of the strategic directions of our investments. We have extensive experience in commercial accounting and households. Our plan is to utilise it in the limitless world of IoT,” says Andrius Janukonis, the chairman of the board of ICOR.

Mainlink, the member of ICOR corporate group, develops its activities across several directions. The company implements LoRaWAN® and other similar wireless networks. Also, Mainlink is responsible for data collecting, processing and presenting to the clients.

In order to deliver these services successfully, Mainlink will work with Mainhive, a unique platform for IoT data collection and analytics. The latest update of Mainhive will be introduced in Q2 2021.
