First crematorium opens in Vilnius

The first Vilnius-based crematorium opened on Tuesday, the construction of which cost about EUR 4 million.

The crematorium is said to be able to carry out at least 3,000 cremations per year, which is estimated to be enough to satisfy the needs of Vilnius and neighbouring regions.
