Finance Minister: growing trade with other Southeast Asian countries should offset losses in Chinese market

Minister of Finance Gintarė Skaistė says Lithuania has never had such great potential to develop economic ties in Southeast Asia as it has now and exports to these countries are growing exponentially.

“When relations with China deteriorated, new markets emerged and with the opening of new embassies in Southeast Asian countries we see growth in those countries. I would say this is potential for new markets, new trade and export, which did not exist before,” Skaistė told Lietuvos ryto TV on Wednesday.
