Economy Ministry launches EUR 0.6mn call for tenders to set up e-invoice exchange tool

The Ministry of the Economy and Innovation is calling for project implementation plans to set up an electronic invoice exchange tool funded out of the EUR 1 billion earmarked for the economy, the ministry said in a press release.

“This technological solution will enable electronic invoices to be sent, received and processed on a large scale in accordance with the European standard for electronic invoices. The tool will not only be free of charge and easy to access and install in companies’ accounting systems, but it will also help implement a smooth and harmonious exchange of electronic invoices compliant with the European standard between companies,” Minister for the Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė pointed out.
