The greatest influence on the overall price change was made by an increase in average gross hourly earnings (2%), prices of construction materials and products (0.9%) and hourly labour costs for the operation of construction machines and mechanisms (0.2%). As for construction materials and products, the largest price growth was recorded for insulation materials (2.7%), concrete and reinforced concrete products (2.6%), windows and doors (2.5%), while price drop – metal products (2%).

As for buildings and structures, the largest increase in prices over a month was observed for the construction of residential buildings (1.8%). Construction of civil engineering structures went up in price by 1.1%, and non-residential buildings – 0.7%.

Over the year (June 2022, against June 2021), construction input prices increased by 19.8%. This was determined by an increase in prices of construction materials and products (25%), hourly labour costs for the operation of construction machines and mechanisms (17.8%), average gross hourly earnings (10.1%), as well as by a decrease in overheads (4.2%).

As for buildings and structures, the largest increase in prices over a year was observed for the construction of non-residential buildings (21.3%). Construction of residential buildings went up in price by 18.9, civil engineering structures – 18.7%.
