By a third fewer Lithuanians plan to work abroad compared with 2009

The Employment Service (UŽT) has announced that the number of Lithuanian residents planning to work abroad in the future even for a short time has decreased by 28% in 2022 compared with 2009.

A Eurobarometer survey on labour mobility has revealed that 22% (-13% compared with 2009) of Lithuanians plan to work abroad in the future, while 72% (+28% compared with 2009) do not.
