In October 2022, the number of employees receiving minimum monthly wage (MMW) and lower gross earnings in the whole economy (individual enterprises included) amounted to 115.1 thousand it was 9.7 percent of total number of employees (0.2 percentage point less compared to October 2021). The majority (89 thousand) of these employees worked part-time, said the State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania).

In October 2022, the number of employees working full-time and receiving MMW in the whole economy amounted to 26 thousand, which is 2.4 percent of all full-time employees: in the public sector – 1.8 percent (5.3 thousand), in the private sector – 2.7 percent (20.7 thousand).
