MEP Antanas Guoga on his impressions of the European Parliament and his brief
The Lithuania Tribune spoke to Antanas Guoga, member of the European Parliament from the Lithuania's Liberal Movement Party. We spoke about his impressions of the European Parliament, work in parliamentary committees, energy security and information propaganda from the East. Mr. Guoga is adamant to work hard and use his mandate entrusted by almost 100 thousand voters to showcase Lithuania as an attractive proposition to foreign investors, country which has changed so much during the past 25 years and continues to develop. MEP stressed, that work of the European Parliament is somewhat slow and the decision making mechanism can be tiresome, but is optimistic about his brief, especially related to promotion of growth in the regions of Lithuania.
