Baltic battalion to join NATO rapid response force

Some one thousand troops from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania are training together in order to join NATO's new rapid response force.

The Baltic battalion, which will form part of the force, is a rapid response group that can be quickly deployed to any part of the alliance in order to help a member fend off threats.
