A comprehensive action plan for the planned synchronization of Lithuania's electricity system with that of Continental Europe has been submitted to the Cabinet for discussion, the Energy Ministry said on Thursday.
The project for the synchronization of the Baltic power grids with the Continental European system received the green light in Brussels on Friday, the Lithuanian government said.
Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski says that the project for synchronizing the Baltic power grids with the continental European network will be implemented, but that requires a final agreement among the three Baltic nations.
