Volume of goods transport down by 24% in Q4

In the last quarter of 2022, goods transport by all modes of transport totalled 31.2 million tonnes, a decrease of 24% year-on-year, the State Data Agency said.

Over a year, the volume of goods transport by sea fell by 36.4%, by inland waterway transport – 12.2%. No goods were transported by Lithuanian airlines, the volume of good transport by rail decreased by 46.1%, by road transport – 10.6%.
