Seimas designates Wagner as terrorist organisation

The Seimas, the Parliament of Lithuania, has adopted a resolution designating Russia’s private military company Wagner as a terrorist organisation and stating that its members and mercenaries pose a threat to national security and public order.

The resolution put forward by MP Laurynas Kasčiūnas, chairman of the Seimas Committee on National Security and Defence, was adopted unanimously by 117 MPs on 14 March.
