Russian and Belarusian-owned companies in Lithuania halve in a year

There are currently 1,328 companies in Lithuania with a 100% holding owned by Russian or Belarusian citizens and companies. Another 658 and 670 are owned by Russian capital and Belarusian capital respectively, data from the open data platform Okredo for businesses show.

A year ago, when the war broke out, 1,368 Russian and 1,068 Belarusian enterprises were operating in Lithuania.
The staff numbers in Russian-owned companies halved in a year to 558. Meanwhile, the number of employees in Belarusian-owned companies increased by 10% to 1,399 over a year.
