Eighteen migrants tried to cross into Lithuania from Belarus illegally

On 26 January, a total of 18 persons aiming to cross into Lithuania from Belarus illegally were turned away, the State Border Guard Service (VSAT) said on Friday.

Latvia reported no illegal border crossing attempts last day, whereas Polish border guards said they denied entry to 56 foreigners trying to cross the Polish-Belarusian border illegally on 25 January.
