Landsbergis: EU sanctions list can and must be complemented

On 23 January in Brussels, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis attended the EU’s Foreign Affairs Council which discussed further support to Ukraine and the situation in Iran and the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as well as in the Sahel and coastal countries of West Africa, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

“Sanctions imposed by the EU are working, but many companies and sectors still can and must complement the sanctions list. Rosatom is one of them. It is thus essential to make it clear that we are all striving for Ukraine’s victory and Russia’s defeat,” the head of Lithuania’s diplomacy said.
