Lithuanian cities will turn off Christmas lights for one hour in solidarity with Ukraine

On Wednesday, 21 December, Lithuania’s municipalities are invited to show solidarity with Ukraine, which suffers power cuts due to Russia’s missile and drone attacks, and turn off Christmas lights in public places for one hour starting 8 p.m.

The campaign 60 Minutes of Darkness initiated by Ukraine is aimed at drawing attention of the world to the humanitarian disaster ongoing in the country.
