“If a school community sees it as a meaningful thing, the Russian language should not be prohibited as an optional foreign language there. What surely needs to be changed, is the teaching material, how Russian is taught so that the material is relevant to the current situation,” Čmilytė-Nielsen told Žinių radijas on Wednesday.
