Nordic–Baltic formins issue joint statement on support for Ukraine

Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis and his counterparts from Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Norway and Sweden have issued a joint statement expressing full solidarity with Ukraine after their meeting in Kyiv on Monday. This is reported to have been the biggest international visit to the capital city of Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion.

In their statement the Nordic-Baltic foreign ministers strongly condemned the Russian war of aggression and pledged that they would never recognise the attempted annexation of Ukraine’s territories, including Crimea.
