Vilnius Municipality covers monument to Soviet soldiers in Antakalnis Cemetery in black cloth

On Thursday, 13 October, Vilnius City Municipality covered the monument depicting Soviet soldiers in Antakalnis Cemetery in black cloth.

The decision was made after obscenities were recently written on the six stelae. A surveillance camera has been installed near the monument to prevent vandalism and identify culprits, the news agency ELTA has learned from a representative of Vilnius City Municipality Gabrielius Grubinskas.
