Foreigners' children allowed to reunite with parents, relatives to come for funerals

The government allowed on Wednesday children of third-country nationals who are spouses or legally recognized partners of Lithuanian citizens to come to the country.

The Cabinet also lifted entry restrictions for foreigners who want to attend funerals in Lithuania.

Most foreign travelers from countries outside the EU and several other European countries need special permission from the government to enter Lithuania.

Decisions on self-isolation and testing requirements for foreigners' children and relatives coming for funerals will be made by the health minister.
