In line with the decisions adopted by the Cabinet at its regular meeting, kindergartens and sports clubs will be allowed to reopen from May 18.
Moreover, all beauty services, such as body care, solarium, tattooing, piercing and others, received the go-ahead to resume on that date, too.
In addition, the government allowed visitors in hospitals, the reopening of dentists’ offices to patients and outdoor events of up to 30 attendees from May 18.
Starting from May 11, the European Union’s (EU) citizens as well as individuals having a national visa will be allowed to come to Lithuania for work, business or educational purposes. They will be subject to 14-day self-isolation.
However, the mandatory two-week self-isolation requirement will not apply to Polish citizens who will be free to come to Lithuania for business, work and educational purposes from May 11.
Also, Lithuania will reopen its borders to citizens from Latvia and Estonia from May 15. Movement of Lithuania’s, Latvia’s and Estonia’s citizens between the three countries will not be restricted and those arriving will not be subject to the self-isolation requirement.
