"By the end of the summer, we could produce about 100,000 disposable coveralls, depending on demand and supply of raw materials," the company told BNS in a comment.

Arvydas Skorupskas, the director of Panevezys National Hospital, said earlier on Friday that Devold and Dominari, a local furniture manufacturer, would produce medical coveralls.

"The product has already been tested and the feedback is really good," he said at a news conference.

According to Devold, the first batches of coveralls have already been delivered to hospitals in Panevezys, Utena, Rokiskis and Anyksciai.

Dominari CEO Saulius Maleckas declined to comment on the company’s plans to make coveralls.
