As webmd.com writes, the study was made by analyzing data from people that live in private houses or apartments in Kaunas, the second largest city of Lithuania.



The research looked at how long-term exposure to air pollutions has an impact on people’s health.



It was observed how long-term exposure to air pollution and the development of high blood pressure and some components of metabolic syndrome were linked.



The study concludes that the effects were seen only in people that live in apartment buildings.
